- Re: Liverpool Exodus
Setting impossible targets and starting over with a new manager and a
new set of players when you fail to meet them is how you become Real
Madrid or Newcastle.
- Opinion Question: rugby on football pitches
Should teams be allowed to host rugby matches on football pitches?
Teams like Wigan and Hull City have nightmare pitches this time of year, due
mostly to the fact that they host rugby matches in their stadiums. I believe
that this shouldn't be allowed. For instance, for this match (Hull versus
Arsenal) the league could have investigated the pitch and said to Hull City

Lame and lamer. I am now convinced you dont really know the rules.

Fair enough. Once bitten, twice shy I guess.

- Re: Liverpool Exodus
You pair Masch with someone like Alonso or GERRARD or SNEIJDER (why
weren't we in for him? He was cheaper than Aquilani) and that's very
effective.
Actually scratch that, not masch. He's ordinary, and subpar. A good
club like Barcelona wouldn't give him a sniff, and he's no one of
stature on the international football scene.
- Re: Liverpool Exodus
Why? Reina is an average, ordinary goalkeeper. Nothing more, and he's
been one of Liverpools worse culprits this season and over the years.
Can't even make the best national squad in the world. Such average,
and ordinary players don't belong at top clubs.

The Daily Mail?!!! Cough... splutter... I wouldn't read a trendy liberal

Well I am frothing at the mouth now that you've suggested I would read a

Hi! :)
Sadly it's not valid. To make it valid, you should change the
following 8 predictions (because I've already taken them):
(second round means group of 16 = eighth-finals = sweet sixteen =
octofinals, doesn't it?)
Maybe you're not willing to change these predictions. After all, it
seems that we basically share the same opinions, so it makes little

Quoting Real Mardin in rec.sport.soccer:
I have my reasons, let's just say I once was very open everywhere on the
net, but (some) people can't handle openness. So I was stalked. Someone
catalogued everything (searchable) I did on the internet and posted it to a
Swedish group. Ain't gonna happen again. At least not that easily.

Perfect, this is your official entry.
Now to the interesting part: prize? If I'll win, I'd like you to
officially propose a Fantasy Scout reform to fix a problem of my
choice. Are you interested? What could I do for you if you'll win?
- Re: MAN U, Argentina or Brasil
Ok, interesting statement.
If I'm neutral going into a tournament I do tend to root for
Argentina. Great brand of football (Maradona 86), but also cynical
when they need to be (WC 90) and never far from controversy (Maradona
again, the brawl at the end of the quarter final with Germany in
2006). But then I used to cheer for Million Dollar Man and Honky Tonk
